I blew out a disc in my back at work. I thought I was covered by my job. Turned out they weren't going to take care of their obligations – then the insurance companies wouldn't take me on after that because of m “pre-existing conditions.” Now I'm out of a job and uninsured, tryng to live on a small disability check with 5 kids and a wide. I don't want a hand out – I just want this system to be helped.
