I've had cancer three times now and have watched the bills pile up and skyrocket over the years. When I was first sick in 1980, we never even saw a doctor bill. Then, the second time around we had co-payments, and now this time we have bigger deductibles coming out of our own pockets and lots of bills. My husband and I pay for health insurance through the company that he retired from, but what are we paying for if we're ending up with all these bills?
